Many members of Atify’s core team first met while working on large-scale AI initiatives at leading enterprises in Japan, including Microsoft, Rakuten, Cisco and Deloitte, between 2019 and 2022. During this period, they were involved in developing best-in-class NLP/NLU and later generative AI–powered platforms for customer support, marketing automation, education and recruiting, becoming early pioneers in this field. As a result, Atify was initially established as an AI-driven company with a strong focus on automation powered by advanced AI technologies.
However, through close collaboration with our first customers during our initial years, we quickly recognized a broader challenge across many Japanese enterprises. Alongside strong interest in AI adoption, there remained a significant shortage of skilled talent and operational resources required to move forward at the necessary speed. In response, Atify gradually expanded its team, operating structure, and service portfolio to include IT outsourcing, project staffing, and recruitment services (currently conducted under the Atify Recruiting brand) enabling us to support our customers’ growth more comprehensively.
